341.NewOlympicLogo

So... I didn't like my original logo for Delhi, India and this is the new one...
Semi-henna inspired slash lotus (again). Still working on everything (stationery/billboard/buswrap) too.
Hopefully I'll get it done by Tuesday morning!

446.Package Revision

This is the revised look of Calpis (cow-piss) aka Calpico, the non-carbonated soft drink.
It's several hours late, but if I could get a little feedback, I'd really appreciate it. ^.^
(The top one is what I had on Thursday and the bottom one is the new one).

So, here is my logo design for Delhi, India. Yay~
It's the abstract lotus with the Olympic colors.
My other designs looked like a bird or a jester's hat...
So if you have any suggestions for this logo, feel free to be brutal yet helpful!

341.Delhi 2016 Stationery

Here is my stationery for 2016 Delhi. I'm still working on the logo... So far, it's gone through some revisions. Some of the logos look like something else that I don't want them to look like. -_-
The stationery is simple and uses the Olympic colors.

341.Olympics 2016

Here are the Logo Comps for Delhi, India. I chose their national flower, the lotus. They also have a building called the Lotus Temple that I also modeled my icon after.

446.Packaging Design & Structure

This is for the Calpico beverage. I like the carton structure and design the best. It has the structure like those of the Silk milk cartons but has a groove on the side (first column, second row).

341.Olympics Stationery

This is the stationery for Delhi, India 2016 Olympics.
I'm still deciding on the logo too so I have three different ones up now.
Still no color scheme yet.

3 Bad Packaging

Mountain Dew and Big Red have poor graphic design. The makeup brand, Urban Decay has a poor packaging
design. The
Graphics on Mountain Dew are somewhat too repetitive. The geometric shapes look too elementary-ish. Big Red is just big text on a splash. Urban Decay has its own graphic design look, but it is frustrating to open the makeup container. It is held together by a nut/screw. If one is not careful, then this $35 eyeshadow container will have nail marks in the eyeshadow because the wood just swivels to the direction that you push it, without any opposite force.

3 Good Packaging

True North, Gatorade, and Pepsi are examples of good graphic packaging. The containers themselves are pretty generic, but the graphics are interesting. True North plays with their product by arranging them into circular shapes, which helps with the design on the package. They also stick with a neutral color palette to emphasize the nuts. Gatorade has a more playful approach with type and no graphics. The phrases are intended to motivate the targeted audience - athletes and/or competitive people. Pepsi went for a more simplistic look, more for the twenty-first century - very minimal.
